Tasted Nov 2014

This wine requires a lot of patience, we almost missed it.  It took over 2.5 hours to transform into something magical.  Magical because it started out with very little.  First nose showed constraint fruit, pine oil, over-ripen fruit but with time it was indeed much better.  Juicy mouth feel of ripe black fruit, stewed plum, cassis, sweet oak-cedar, full body with lush and soft tannin.  The finish stretch for a while with lingering scent of wood and raisin.  Not too complex of a wine but very enjoyable; patience will be greatly rewarded. Don’t wait to enjoy it. (17.5/20)
